Trade Showroom, Luxury Furniture Sales, 2+ years
The Collector's House is a boutique Retail & Trade showroom. Our focus is on quality, artisan-made, luxury interior and exterior furnishings, serving a refined, discerning clientele. We are an intimate company, representing several of the industry's most sought-after lines of furniture, outdoor furnishings, accessories, lighting, rugs, art and antiquities. Our strengths are in our diverse luxury collection of furnishings, our poetic presentation, the personalized care and commitment we offer our community, the positive and beautiful working environment we've developed.
This sales position is for a high achieving, goal oriented, service-minded individual who will work directly with interior designers and architects, supporting their project needs. Develop and maintain strong trade professional relationships, work from the showroom, visit firms in the community, travel throughout the state of AZ. Develop and facilitate PowerPoint presentations, new product launches. Attend networking events. We require 2+ years of trade showroom sales experience or retail interior furnishings sales. Interior design education or experience is a bonus to understanding and succeeding in this role. This role is salary, plus commission.
Responsibilities:
- Manage trade accounts, create tearsheets, quotes, invoices, acquire lead times, request fabric and finish swatches.
- Write sales orders, manage orders, manage lead times, keep customer informed of any delays or changes. Manage orders until shipped.
- Collect deposits and balances for orders, work closely with purchasing department.
- Work on POS system and internal documents created in Microsoft Office. Must be proficient, quick, and accurate with typing skills and presentations.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree, Bachelors degree a plus.
- 2+ years experience in a professional environment that includes luxury high-end furnishings sales. Trade showroom experience a plus.
- Strong personal management, personal motivation and follow through.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Microsoft Suite proficiency required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
